Schools have been given access to AI. Nobody has been given the job of showing each student how to handle it. The talk covers four things, with live examples.
Check before you trust
AI states invented facts and sources with total confidence. Students practise catching them and learn a quick routine for verifying anything that matters.
Keep your data yours
What never to type into a chatbot, where it can end up, and how to get the same help without handing over personal details.
Use it to learn, not to skip learning
Ways of working with AI that make you better at the subject: asking it to quiz you, explain a step, or find the hole in your argument.
Know what it actually is
A plain explanation of how these models work and why they fail the way they do, from students who build and train them in international competition.

Tell us about your school
Email us the year groups you have in mind and a few Friday afternoons that work. A teacher or a head of year is the right person to get in touch.

We come to you
One or both of us travel to your school and give the talk in person. There is no fee and nothing for staff to prepare beyond a room and a screen.

You keep the materials
The slides stay with the school. Hands-on notebooks that students can run in a browser, with nothing to install, are in development for those who want to go further.

Two students who represented the UK at the International Olympiad in AI in 2026, working with organisers of the UK Olympiad in AI.
Zane Kumar
St Paul's School, London. Gold medal at the International Olympiad in AI 2026, placing 28th of 440 contestants from 103 countries. Silver medal at Euro AI 2026.
Yijun Wang
Tonbridge School. Bronze medallist at the International Olympiad in AI 2026. Gold medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad 2026, placing 34th of 363.
